FUERTEVENTURA AND LANZAROTE WEDDING CELEBRANT
Are you looking for a celebrant that can celebrate your symbolic wedding, exchange of wows, wedding anniversary renewal of vows or just a small elopement ceremony? Fuerteventura Weddings is the perfect solution for you – we provide the symbolic ceremony celebrants at Fuerteventura and Lanzarote islands that can perform in different languages: English, Italian, Spanish, Polish, German and Russian.
Our celebrant service will be designed in consultation with you as a couple and following your wishes and your most important and meaningful values: we will start with knowing more about your story and about your vision on how you want the ceremony look like, and if you would like to include some other family members or friends for ceremony readings. There are basically no limits to what you can do, it’s all up to you – everything the officiant says can be personalized. We can create a fun ceremony with a lot of laughs or elegant and sophisticated ceremony with traditional touches.
The symbolic wedding ceremony usually includes the following parts:
- Welcome and introduction
- About your love story
- About love and meaning of the marriage
- Readings by family and/or friends
- Exchange of your personal vows
- A ring ceremony and/or ring vows
- Conclusion
- Signing of the marriage certificate
There are lots of ways to enrich your symbolic ceremony and the most requested rituals are:
Unity candle ceremony – the couple will hold one candle each and there will be a third between them. The couple will light each other’s candles and after, they will light the main one together. The merging flames will show their unity, strengthened love and shared lives.
Sand Ceremony – the couple will mix two different colors of sand into one container glass vase. Its meaning is simple and beautiful: two becoming one, the new family. The mixed sands create a beautiful effect of colors and the glass vase will be a nice decorative souvenir.
Ring Warming – the couple’s wedding rings will be passed around to guests and the guests will “warm” them up with a prayer, good wishes and positive vibes for their future life together.
Handfasting – the couple hands will be bound together with colored ribbons. The binding of the hands symbolizes the coming together and commitment of two people and their lives becoming entwined. The couple can also include family members or guests or their children, to carry out the fasting.
